USEFUL EXPRESSIONS

Poner monedas de . . . pesetas

To put in . . . peseta coins

Levantar el auricular

To pick up the receiver

Marcar el número al que quieres llamar

To dial the number you want to call

Note that instructions can be given with the command or imperative form as above (e.g., deposite), or with other more colloquial forms, for example tiene que/hay que marcar (you have to/one has to dial), or the present tense, marca(s) el número (you dial the number).
