A tourist is looking for a restaurant in a Spanish town. He stops a passerby and asks for diretions.

Tourist:

Perdone, ¿hay algún restaurante por aquí?

Pardon me, are there some restaurants this way?

Passerby:

Pues, el restaurante El Faro es muy bueno y está muy cerca de aquí. Conoce usted la Calle Esmeralda?

Well, the El Faro restaurant is very good and is nearby. Do you know Emerald Street?

Tourist:

No, no la conozco. No soy de aquí

No, I don’t know it. I am not from here.

Passerby:

Es la segunda calle a la derecha. El restaurante está casi al final de la calle.

It is the second street to the right. The restaurant is almost at the end of the street.

Tourist:

¿La segunda calle a la derecha?

The second street to the right?

Passerby:

Sí, sí, está a unos cien metros de aquí.

Yes, yes, it is about 100 meters from here.

Tourist:

Pues, muchas gracias.

Well, thanks a lot.

Passerby:

De nada.
