DELAWARE BETA CHAPTER - HONORS AND HISTORY
Goldey-Beacom College's Chapter of Alpha Chi was installed in 1982. Our chapter
holds a position of particular distinction within the organization:
• Our chapter of Alpha Chi has been recognized as a
Star chapter for 10 of the 12 years that award has been given;
• We have won the President's Cup as Outstanding
Chapter in the Nation;
• One of our students won a national fellowship;
• We have won at least 20 regional scholarships
for papers presented at regional or national conventions.
• Twice we have presented workshops at National Conventions, and last year we
hosted the Convention for Region VI at the Hotel DuPont.
In large part, those honors are due to the strong support of the administration
and faculty of this college and to the dedication and enthusiasm of our members.
