Payment Methods

All payments are due by the 15th of the month. The following payment methods can be used for making your payment:

  1. mail check to ECSI
  2. phone in credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover/NOVUS, American Express) to the College
  3. provide direct debit information for automatic payment to ECSI
  4. set up pre-authorized credit/debit card with the College
  5. walk in with cash, check or credit/debit card to the College
     

Rehabilitation of a Defaulted Perkins Loan

  1. The borrower may rehabilitate a defaulted loan only one time.
  2. A loan is rehabilitated if the borrower makes twelve (12) on-time monthly payments for twelve (12) consecutive months and the rehabilitation is requested by the borrower.
  3. Within 30 days of receiving the borrower's last on-time, consecutive monthly payment
    • The borrower will be returned to regular on-time repayment status.
    • The borrower's negative credit will be removed from their credit history.
  4. The first payment made under the twelve (12) consecutive payments will be considered the first payment under the new ten (10) year repayment schedule.
