Contract Information

All contracts must be accompanied by a $400.00 first payment. The first $200.00 of this payment will be applied to the security deposit (damage deposit) and the remaining $200.00, which is non-refundable, will be applied towards the amount of the contract. If a student already has a security deposit, the first portion of this payment will be applied to bring the security deposit balance to $200.00. Any remaining amount will be applied towards the contract. No contract will be processed without this $400.00 first payment.

The Office of Housing & Residence Life offers several options for on-campus living. Students may request the standard, double or single bedroom options on their contracts. Cost will be based on which bedroom option is chosen with the standard bedroom option being the least expensive. There are a limited number of single and double bedroom options, and assignments will be made based on room availability.

  • Standard bedroom option is defined as the maximum number of students that are housed in a particular room. For most of the rooms on campus this number would be three. There are some exceptions, which are rooms which designate two students as the standard occupancy.

  • Double bedroom option is defined as having one additional roommate in your bedroom (unless it is the standard two person room).

  • Single bedroom option is defined as having no roommates in the bedroom.
Furniture will not be removed from apartments where students have chosen the double or single option.

Cost

When compared to apartment living in the Pike Creek Valley area, Goldey-Beacom College is very competitive in the on-campus housing package it offers. Housing costs include heat, central A/C, water, electric, expanded basic cable TV, and wireless internet access. In addition, each apartment is equipped with a telephone jack and residents negotiate services directly with a phone service company. The current pricing for the next academic year are as follows.
