Residence Hall "What to Bring Checklist"

 

Moving into the residence halls is definitely an exciting time in your college career. To help you make this a successful experience, the Office of Housing and Residence Life has compiled a list of items that we’ve found the residents most often have used. It is advisable that you contact your future roommates and decide what each person is going to bring.

 

Things you are advised to bring:

Alarm clock

Bath towels

Blankets (non-electric only)

Canisters

Cereal Bowls

Cloths hangers

Cookbook

Cookie Sheet

Dinner plates

Dish cloths/towels

Dishwashing soap

Glasses/cups/mugs

Hair dryer

Ice trays

Iron/Ironing Board

Juice pitcher

Microwave**
Paper Towels

Pillow

Pillow cases

Salt-n-Pepper shaker

Serving spoon

Sheets (twin)

Shower curtain/rings

Deep fryers
Halogen lamps
Incense
Furniture
Carpets

**Leach Hall has microwave ovens so bring microwave dishes, pans and utensils if you are living there.
