Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting The Certificate in Accounting is designed for students who have completed a Bachelor's degree in another field of business study. The curriculum is comprised of the courses specific to the B.S. in Accounting and also the course work that satisfies the requirements for the Delaware C.P.A. examination. Taken in addition to the 120+ credit hours required for a Bachelor's degree, this certificate program will provide the student with the credit hours necessary to satisfy the C.P.A. requirements of 150 credit hours of college course work. The full certificate totals 39 credit hours, and is comprised of twelve classes, up to six of which may be transferred in from other accredited programs.
Financial Aid Many employers offer tuition assistance to their employees, but often restrict benefits to those enrolled in degree or certificate programs. Likewise, federal financial aid, grants, and low-interest loans are restricted to degree and certificate students. While you can enroll as a non-degree seeking student anywhere to earn accounting credits, our certificate program may qualify you for the financial assistance you need.
