Morse made six saves as Caldwell College edged Goldey-Beacom College, 2-1, in
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women’s soccer action Saturday
afternoon.
Sophomore April Yanacek (Wilmington, DE)
opened the scoring at 20:04 when she scored unassisted to put GBC in front 1-0.
The game remained that way until Brook Delucca scored
for Caldwell at
78:26 to tie the game at one and send it to overtime.
Sophomore
goalkeeper Stephanie Steele (Wilmington, DE)
made 10 saves in defeat as the Lightning were outshot 20-14.
The Lightning return to action this Wednesday when they host Felician College at 4 p.m.
