WILMINGTON, DE (September 9, 2004) – Caitlin LeBlanc and Jennie Rohrbaugh each posted nine kills and Megan Urban handed out 19 assists as Millersville University defeated Goldey-Beacom College, 3-0, Thursday night in non-conference volleyball action at MBNA America Hall.

The Marauders (4-1) captured game one, 30-14, game two, 30-19, and game three, 30-20.

Junior Norah Burdette (Ellicott City, MD) led the Lightning (0-2) with 10 kills while freshman Kendra Russell (New Castle, DE) had six. Junior co-captain Claire Phillips (Wilmington, DE) chipped in with six kills and 17 digs for Goldey-Beacom.

Millersville outhit the Lightning .236 to .048 and committed just 15 attack errors compared to 25 for Goldey-Beacom.

The Lightning return to action this Saturday when they travel to New York to take on Nyack College at 1 p.m.
