WILMINGTON, DE (April 27, 2005= ) – Freshman Kendra Russell (New Castle, DE) h= urled back-to-back complete games to help the Goldey-Beacom softball team post wi= ns of 6-2 and 7-1 against Wilmington College in a key Central Atlantic Collegi= ate Conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at the GBC Softball Complex in Wilmington.

 

Sen= ior Tiffany Frick (= Pennsauken, NJ), junior Brandy Ash (Dagsboro, DE), sophomore Sarah Gehman (King of Prussia, PA), and fre= shman Megan Harper (= Atco, NJ) each drove in two runs for the Lightning, who improved to 19-15 with the wins and 9-7 in conference play. The Wildcats, meanwhile, dropped to 19-19 (9-7 CACC) with the losses.

 

Rus= sell allowed 11 hits and three runs (two earned) in 14 innings of work, striking= out seven while walking just one.
