5/7/-9/07- GBC finished in 5th place at the NCAA Division II
Northeast Region golf tournament at Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling,
WV. GBC fired a team total of 970 for the tournament.

4/16-17/07 GBC finished in 2nd place at the 2007 CACC Golf
Championships. The Lightning finished with a one-day score of 312,
one stroke behind first place Post. Senior Steven Cutler (Kennett
Square, PA) finished second overall and just one stroke behind the
winner. Cutler earned All-CACC honors with his second place finish.

5/1-3/06 GBC won
the NCAA Division II Northeast Region golf tournament at Speidel
Golf Club in Wheeling, WV. GBC fired a team total of 928 for the
tournament. Michael Tobiason led the way for the Lightning by firing
a 221 overall total en route to the individual title. Mark Agnew
placed fifth overall with a 234 total.

4/9-11/06 GBC
finished in 2nd place at the 2006 CACC Golf Championships in New
Haven, CT. The Lightning finished with a two-day combined score of
619, three strokes behind first place Post. Senior Mike Tobiason
(Wilmington, DE) finished in a tie for first place at (144) along
with teammate junior Steven Cutler (Kennett Square, PA). Tobiason
and Cutler were named co-Players of the Year and Jim Mahoney was
named Coach of the Year.

10/2-3/05
GBC finished in fourth place at the 2005 ECAC Division II Men's
Golf Championships in Liverpool, NY. The Lightning finished with
a two-day combined score of 600 (+40). Senior Mike Tobiason
(Wilmington, DE) finished in a tie for second place at +3 (143).
Junior Steven Cutler (Kennett Square, PA) was next, finishing in
a tie for 8th place at +7 (147).
2004-2005

5/2-3 GBC
finished in third place in its first-ever NCAA Tournament
appearance in Jackson, NJ. The Lightning finished with a
three-day combined score of 956 (+92), which placed them behind
only Bryant University and St. Thomas Aquinas. Junior Mike
Tobiason (Wilmington, DE) finished in a tie for sixth place at
+16 (232). Sophomore Steven Cutler (Kennett Square, PA) was
next, finishing in a tie for 13th place at +18 (234), junior
Nick Nardo (Newark, DE) finished in a tie for 27th place at +31
(247), senior Michael Clair (Landenberg, PA) ended his golf
career at GBC in a tie for 29th place at +32 (248), and freshman
Mark Agnew (Newark, DE), finished in a tie for 32nd place at +34
(250).

4/19 - GBC
captures its third consecutive CACC Conference Title over
runner-up Post University by 12 strokes. Junior Mike Tobiason
(Wilmington, DE) defended his tournament championship for the
second straight year finishing with a two-day total of 147 (+3).
Steve Cutler (+4) had the best round of the event with a 71,
which included three straight birdies on the back nine. Cutler
finished second. Goldey-Beacom was named the Co-Sportsmanship
Award winners.
2003-2004

5/2-3 - The Lightning had three individual qualifiers to the
NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Championships at the Blue Ridge
Country Club in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Michael Tobiason (So.), the
highest seeded Individual competitor finished in a tie for 10th place
with a 3-day combined score of 236 (80, 78, 78), Steve Cutler (Fr.)
placed 16th with a total of 244 (82, 81, 81) and Nick Nardo (So.) placed
36th with a total round of 259 (85, 86, 88).

4/26 - GBC
captures its second CACC Conference Title by 14 strokes over the
runner-up Teikyo Post University. The Lightning placed three players
among the top seven finishers: Mike Tobiason (So., Newark, DE) in 1st
place with a score of 109 over 27 holes, Steve Cutler (Fr., Kennett
Square, PA) in 4th place with 116 strokes, and Mike Clair (Jr., West
Grove, PA) tied for 5th with a score of 117. Coach Jim Mahoney also was
honored as the CACC Coach of the Year for 2004.
2002-2003

5/1-2 - The Lightning finished 3rd in its
first ever NAIA Regional Playoffs in Cape Cod, MA against SUNY-Delhi and
Husson College. Freshman Mike Tobiason finished 2nd out 15 of the top
golfers in the region.
4/16 - GBC captures its first CACC Conference
Title by 13 strokes over the runner-up and 2002 champion Dominican
College. The Lightning placed three players among the top seven finishers:
Mike Tobiason (Fr., Newark, DE) in 1st place with a score of 110 over 27
holes, Nick Nardo (Fr., Newark, DE) in 5th place with 120 strokes, and
Steven Connell (Fr., Elkton, MD) tied for 6th with a score of 121. Coach
Jim Mahoney also was honored as the CACC Coach of the Year for 2003.

12/02 - Freshman Michael Tobiason earns
a 1st place ranking in NAIAs Region 10 with an average score of 73.20.
2001-2002
- 9/26 - The Lightning earns its first
Tournament win over opponents Widener University and Swarthmore College
at the Hartefeld National Golf Club in Avondale, Pennsylvania.
